Friends, who doesn't like to eat cupcakes? And if the cupcakes are packed with protein, then the fun of eating them doubles. You may remember that in my previous blog, I shared a recipe for Protein and Healthy Doughnuts. In this article, we will learn about the Protein Chocolate Cupcake Recipe.
Friends nowadays most of the things available in the market are adulterated, especially protein powders and they are also very expensive, and not everyone can afford them. That's why I try to include only homemade ingredients in all my recipes because they are cheap and everyone can afford them easily.
[Note:- In this blog, I will teach you how to make two types of protein powder. 1. Natural Protein Powder and 2. Chocolate Protein Powder. You can make either of these protein powders at home for your Protein Chocolate Cupcakes, or if you've already decided to use commercial protein powder, go further.]
Natural Protein Powder
Let's start by preparing natural protein powder.
Instructions
Step: 1). Select and Clean Legumes
Choose a legume of your choice (such as chickpeas, lentils, or peas). Thoroughly clean the legumes and remove any debris.
Step: 2). Roast Legumes (Optional)
Roasting the legumes can enhance the flavour. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 175°C/350°F/448.15°K for about 10-15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown, and let them cool.
Step: 3). Grind into Powder
Use a blender or powerful food processor to grind the legumes into a fine powder. You may need to grind in batches to achieve a consistent texture.
Step: 4). Strain (Optional)
If you want a smoother powder, you can strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any larger particles.
Step: 5). Store
Transfer the natural protein powder to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place.
Chocolate Protein Powder
If you're a chocolate lover then you can try chocolate protein powder.
Instructions
Step: 1). Mix Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the natural protein powder, cocoa powder, and sweetener. Adjust the sweetener to your taste preference.
Step: 2). Blend or Mix
Blend the mixture in a blender or use a spoon to mix thoroughly until the cocoa powder is evenly distributed.
Step: 3). Store
Again! Transfer the chocolate protein powder to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place. Now your chocolate protein powder is ready to use in your protein chocolate cupcakes. If you want you can also use it in your post or pre-workout diets as well.
Now since we've prepared the protein powder, without any further ado let's get into making these delicious protein-packed chocolate cupcakes.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, embark on the culinary adventure by whisking together the all-purpose or almond flour, chocolate protein powder, sweetener, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. This harmonious blend sets the foundation for the perfect cupcake texture.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or a milk substitute of your choice, melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil), and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. The aroma at this stage is simply irresistible.
Combine Mixture
Now, take another bowl and add the mixture of dry and wet ingredients and mix it together until you get an attractive batter that will add flavour and texture together.
Bake
When the batter is ready, divide it evenly among the cupcake liners. Put the tin in the preheated oven and let the cupcakes bake for 15-18 minutes.
Cool and Enjoy
Now let them cool for a while. Once cooled, these protein-packed treats are absolutely ready to enjoy. These protein-packed cupcakes taste just as delicious as regular cupcakes. As the cupcakes cool, the anticipation builds. There is also an old saying that only those who know how to wait to get sweet fruits.
Please Pay Attention:- While these cupcakes are delicious to eat, as well as also rich in high protein, it doesn't mean that they can be consumed in a high amount. Whether sweet snacks like cupcakes are rich in protein or fatty like regular cupcakes. It is very important to take care of the quantity.
