Rava Kesari Recipe:

1). Roast the Rava

To make Rava Kesari, start by roasting the rava/semolina. First, heat ghee in a pan and lightly roast the rava in it.

2). Make Sugar Syrup

After the roasting of rava is complete, take it out from the pan and keep it aside. Make sugar syrup by adding sugar to it and mixing it with water.

3). Prepare the saffron in ghee

Once your sugar syrup is ready, take it out in a separate pan or any other vessel and mix ghee and saffron together in the same pan in which you prepared the rava and sugar syrup a while ago. Do not rush or else its texture may get spoiled or it may burn. Cook it slowly. They say, "Hurry's work is the devil's work". It is a very old saying of the elders. I still remember that in childhood, when we used to do some work in a hurry, all the elders in the house used to scold us and say "Hurry's work is the devil's work".

Anyway, coming back to the topic.

4). Prepare the mixture

Now, add the roasted rava, sugar syrup and saffron mixture together and mix it well.
